The Regular Selectmen’s Meeting for June 29, 2021 has been postponed and is to be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.

The Town of Cherryfield has several properties that are being put out for bids.  If you are interested you can get the information at the Town Office  Monday – Friday from 8:30 to 4:00.  Phone: 207-546-2376       We also have some building repairs that need to be done and we are accepting proposals on that as well.  If interested just call the Town Office. Bids and proposals are due in the Office by Monday, May 24th.

1.  The Town Office has been temporarily closed due to Covid.  Staff has been exposed and will be getting Covid tests done.  If tests are negative the office will be immediately re0pened.  If tests are positive, hopefully we will be able to reopen on Wednesday, March 23, 2021.

2.  Saturday, April 3, 2021 the Cherryfield Academy Community Center will be hosting the Annual Easter Egg Hunt at 10:00 A.M. at the Academy  Building.  MASKS REQUIRED.  The Easter Bunny will be there too !  There will also be an Easter Basket and Silent Auction from 10:00 a.m. – 12:  p.m.   For more info contact Lori @ 318-2209.

There will be a public hearing on the proposed Cherryfield Comprehensive Plan on March 4, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.. The meeting will be held via Zoom.  To join us just go to Zoom.us and enter the following ID Number:  82458297928

ANNUAL TOWN REPORTS ARE BEING PRINTED NOW.  YOU CAN PICK UP YOUR COPY AT THE TOWN OFFICE LOBBY.

ALSO, THE ANNUAL ELECTION OF OFFICERS WILL BE TUESDAY, MARCH 2, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the TOWN OFFICE and the ANNUAL TOWN MEETING will be Monday, March 8, 2021 at the Cherryfield School at 7:00 p.m.   ABSENTEE BALLOTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE ELECTION OF OFFICERS.

The Selectmen’s Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, February 2, 2021 has been postponed until Thursday, February 4, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.

Also, the Town Office will be closed on Tuesday, February 2nd due to the storm conditions.  If for some reason it doesn’t storm…the office will be open.

The Town of Cherryfield is holding a public comment period for the 2019 Cherryfield Comprehensive Plan from February 1, through March 2, 2021.  This is a formal comment period for the final 2019 Update.   There will be a Public Hearing via Zoom on March 4, 2021.  Watch for the notice.  The draft of the Plan can be downloaded from this website or a copy can be viewed at the Cherryfield Library and the Town Office.  Comments can be made in email to townofcherryfieldplanning sec@gmail.com or by writing to ATTN: Cherryfield Planning Board, P.O.
