The Town of Cherryfield is now accepting bids on a 1972 Ford F750 FireTruck. The Fire unit is manufactured by Ward LaFrance. The truck was taken out of service in September and is in good working order. The truck can be viewed at the Fire Station on Robbins Gardens Lane. Bids to be sealed in an envelope and marked “Fire Truck Bid.” There will be a minimum bid of $2000.00 ( Two Thousand Dollars ). Bids need to be received at the Town Office by Friday, November 18, 2016 at 4:00 P.M. The Selectmen retain the right to accept or reject any and all bids. - NOTICE: RCS ASSESSMENT SERVICES are in town now. They are doing a legally required valuation of everyone’s property in the Town of Cherryfield. If you want to have a fair assessment of your property you need to let them do their job. Otherwise, your assessment for taxes will have to be what they assume you have. Please be aware and let them on your property to get the correct information.
