Daylight Saving Time 2017 in Maine will begin at 2:00 AM on Sunday March 12th.

The Town Office will be closed on Monday Feb. 20th, 2017 to observe Presidents Day.

The Cherryfield Annual Town Meeting will be held at the Cherryfield Elementary School on Monday March 13th, 2017. The meeting will begin at 7 :00 P.M.

Annual Town Reports will not be delivered this year, but will be available to pick up at the Town Office on Wednesday February 22, 2017.

The Annual Election of Town Officers will be held at the Town Office on Tuesday, March 7th, 2017. The Polls will be open from  10:00 A.M. to  6 :00 P.M., and voting will be held in the Superintendents Office.

Surveys were sent to every Cherryfield Postal Customer on February 4, 2017 by the Cherryfield Comprehensive Plan Committee. The information you provide is critical to updating the Cherryfield Comprehensive Plan, a plan that guides our future growth, development, and conservation.

The Cherryfield Town Survey is due by March 1, 2017.

There is a drop – box in the Town Office.

Stay tuned for an announcement of a town wide ” Visioning ” meeting this Spring where we will discuss the outcomes of the survey and ideas for the Cherryfield’s future. The Comprehensive Plan Committee will meet on Tuesday, December 13th, 2016 from 7-8 P.M., at the Town Office.

We are working on updating the Cherryfield Comprehensive Plan, which was written in 2003.

This plan guides future growth, development and conservation in Cherryfield.
