The Town of Cherryfield and Downeast Salmon Federation wanted to share a quick update with Cherryfield residents:
As part of the dam replacement and fish passage improvement project, tree clearing is planned for Monday, April 6 and Tuesday, April 7.
This work is necessary for construction access and the work will take place in parts of Cable Pool Park and along Alewife Road on the west side of the river.
Cable Pool Park will remain open, and we welcome you to continue enjoying the space. We just ask that you please take care around trucks and equipment while work is underway.
